HVM Technology Increases Production Capacity

Specialized High Voltage Manufacturer Continues to Push the Limits of High Voltage Miniaturization

NEW BRAUNFELS, TX, June 12th 2017

HVM Technology, Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of miniature high voltage products, announces plans to expand its production capacity with the addition of a new state-of-the-art automatic SMT pick and place assembly line in its New Braunfels, TX manufacturing facility. The announcement follows a decision to include this capacity expansion as part of an overall effort to facilitate growth resulting from increasing customer demand for its standard and custom miniature high voltage products.

Among the equipment being added to HVM's production resources is a Universal Instruments Advantis V high speed automatic surface mount pick and place machine. This state-of-the art machine offers high volume capability along with the flexibility needed for the high mix of assembly variants that go into HVM's products. Incorporating this new equipment into the manufacturing facility is expected to result in a 10X increase in HVM's SMT assembly capacity. In addition to its speed, the Advantis V offers extremely high placement accuracy, which will further enhance the quality of HVM's finished product.

"We are very excited about bringing on this new manufacturing equipment", says Ryan Saldana, Director of Sales and Marketing at HVM Technology, Inc. "We have seen a steady uptick in customer demand and we felt the need to respond with a substantial increase in capacity to ensure that we can continue to provide excellent lead times and pricing that have created success for our company. Increasing our production efficiency is one of the many ways we will continue to offer our customers the best value among our competitors in this niche market. We will continue to pursue total customer satisfaction and we believe shorter lead times are key to making our customers happy."

HVM Technology is a leading producer of a variety of unique miniature high voltage products for a wide variety of military, scientific, aerospace analytical, biomedical and industrial applications. HVM Technology was established in 2004 as a producer of specialized multi-output high voltage DC to DC converters used in night vision image intensifiers.
